| Recipient must be a junior or senior, enrolled in the last year of undergraduate study in Elementary Education (K-6) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Must be a graduate of a Kansas high school with first preference given to Ellinwood or Dighton high school graduates with plans to teach in Kansas and should demonstrate financial need. Applicants should include, under the work experience and activities sections of the application, any experiences that have involved working with children and/or youth (i.e. coaching, teaching Sunday school, helping with scouting programs, etc.). Preference will be given to applicants from underrepresented populations currently enrolled in the FHSU Elementary Education program.
