| New, on-campus, first-time Freshman and Transfer students are eligible to apply. Factors to be considered in the award of the AAOG include, but are not limited to the following: academic achievement in high school or other post-secondary academic institution; leadership and academic potential; personal and family background; and the overall ability of the applicant to contribute to a diverse, productive and qualified student body at Fort Hays State University. Applicants are required, if eligible, to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Applications are available in the Scholarship Services office. | In addition to the scholarship application, all applicants should write a short paragraph describing specific interests and/or career goals within the broad discipline of biology.
Biological Sciences include a choice of programs in Biology, Botany, Conservation, Secondary Education, Range Management, Pre-Forestry, Pre-Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, and Fisheries and Wildlife Management.
